There are many words for different types of bonfires in French but the word simply used most of the time is just "feu"pronounced [fø] - fire

Poisson d'avril (fish of April) is the equivalent of "April fools" Kids make fish out of paper and sneak them onto a unknowing person's back. And then yell "poisson d'avril!!!" when the person discovers it.
