About Me

frenchdrawingaday: I am a swedish graphic designer and illustrator. 13 years ago I moved from Southern California (where I got my college education) to Paris. I didn’t speak a word of French. I approached the language one word at a time, savouring the strangeness of each syllable. I love words, in any language really. if they have a good sound, how they feel when you pronounce them and also how they look written down. I work a lot with typography as a graphic designer but for this challenge I have decided to use my own handwriting because it goes well with the hand drawn illustrations of the word.
